So i was wondering when the ultimate cell phone would come out? Key features that should be: - Cellphone watch (cellphone and a watch in one) - touch screen - 100% water proof - Shock resistances - Wind and weather resistances - Video conference - multi-tasking - 250 gigabytes - Voice translator (Not only by phone to phone, but also real time phone to person translator) - Built in flash light - Walkie talkie mode (with text/instant messaging feature as well) - Voice to text mode - laser pointer - Great GPS - A Long lasting battery life spand thats rechargable - Built in scanner (most likely under the wrist) - small multi-fit ear pieces (2; not 1, but 2) - Digital encyclopedia (kind of like in pokemon, but only for elements, animals, and plants) - All the basic stuff - Screw bluetooth! (I used many phones and they worked great without bluetooth, its just a major power hogger that doesn't do much) - All the stuff above plus at the same time the cellphone is slim (one that isn't all big and bulky) and all at a cheap affordable price. How kool would it be to have a cellphone with all em' features? Is there anything you think should be added to the list? How would we have manage to live without something like that? If you are a cellphone designer for a company, could you design a phone with all those features? By the way im 19 years old just in case you thought i was some little kid thinking this all up. From all the reading and researching on cellphones, PDAs, Hand held devices, etc i have done i know for a fact that something like this is possible. I know it wouldn't be cheap nor easy to make and realize this would be far more than just a cellphone. My guesstimate for the most affordable price for such a device would be like $250 - $450. I know that when LG came out with a video conference cellphone watch it was very expensive, so was their projector phone. I didn't mention the projector for a ultimate cell phone features cuz i knew it wouldn't be possible with all the features i already mention and i dont really care about a projector on a cellphone anyways. I don't play pokemon nor do i read about it anymore i just remembered it from when i was a kid.

Technology has been evolving at an exponential rate in the last half-century. I say this thing will be out by 2011. I also agree on the projector thing on a cell phone. To me, that would be as useful as my cell phone coming with a napkin dispenser. That actually might be more useful than the projector.
